The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) invites regions and countries within the EU to apply for the 2030CATALYSTS project, in response to the need for cohesive, transformative SDG strategies across territories.
The project will select up to 20 applicants and equip them with knowledge and tools for SDG implementation and monitoring through a localized approach. Selected candidates will:
- Access scientific expertise on SDG progress
- Identify relevant indicators in collaboration with experts, partner institutions and other regions
- Learn from best practices in other regions and from quantitative analyses performed by JRC
- Provide relevant datasets, reports and other resources that will help SDG achievement

2030CATALYSTS is also an opportunity for regions to demonstrate leadership, and contribute to innovative approaches towards the SDGs.
