Many countries are accelerating the SDGs by innovating locally to achieve most of the goals by 2030. Although COVID-19 and other crises have disrupted progress, some countries are making significant progress by using innovation to achieve the SDGs.
Created as part of UNDP’s SDG push, the Integrated Insights Report provides a landscape of SDG trends and national priorities towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Integrated Insight Report provides analysis and insights in preparation for the 2023 SDG Summit and the foundation for effective policy implementation in the second half of the 2030 Agenda.
There are four thematic areas that the report highlights.
- SDG interlinkages — These insights are mapped against SDG to define policy choices that accelerate SDG progress, tailored to a national context.
- Finance & Stimulus — These policy choices are made against fiscal constraints and opportunities for stimulus mapped in this section to ensure choices translate to development impact and leave no one behind.
- SDG moment— This section provides an overview of a country’s economic growth trajectory, with new insights on sustainability and inclusiveness of growth pathways.
- SDG Trends &Priorities — This section builds from the foundation of national SDG progress and uses machine learning to analyze national development ambition with an SDG lens.
