The new version builds on the first edition, reflecting the latest concepts in SDG localization and urban planning. It highlights the importance of investing in municipal capacity building, enhancing institutional efficiency, and fostering partnerships across local, regional, national, and international levels.

Urban and strategic planning are essential for creating sustainable cities. These plans can transform how cities operate, ensuring efficient delivery of public services and driving sustainable development. However, local and regional governments often face challenges related to data, capacity, and resources.

Cities are dynamic spaces that highlight both achievements and challenges in sustainable development. This event is open to the public, particularly targeting local and regional government authorities, national ministries focused on local development, planning, finance, economy, urban planners, and statisticians. Other interested participants are also welcome.
