HOW DOES IT WORK

UNDP PROCESSES PAYMENTS FOR THE CITY

The city is responsible to follow up on the different providers deliverables. Is the role of the Project Manager to make sure that the providers request payments on time, so UNDP can proceed with payments. These are the steps to be followed:

  • The city project manager requests the necessary documentation to request a payment. Including the narrative reports and financial invoices.
  • The city project manager sends the request to UNDP, copying Delillah M and Zarina T.
  • In their email, the city project manager certifies to have received the services from the provider and that the services were compliant with the requirements of the contract.
  • UNDP checks on the compliance of the documents and revert to the city in case there are some information missing.
  • UNDP pays directly to the provider. Normally, within a working week.
