The International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (OIDP) invites all cities, entities, and individuals that are part of its network to participate in its 2025 General Assembly to discuss and decide on the organization’s political direction and thematic priorities.
All city delegations and OIDP partners are invited to:
- Preparatory meeting on 14 May 2025, from 3:00-5:00 pm (CEST), in virtual format (via Zoom)
- The General Assembly on 23 May 2025, from 2:00-4:30 pm (UTC-3), as part of the 24th OIDP Conference in Cordoba, Argentina.

The General Assembly takes place every year as part of the Annual Conference and is chaired by the mayor of the host city — who assumes the Presidency of the OIDP — together with the Co-Presidencies and the General Secretariat.

During the General Assembly, participants will discuss the OIDP work plan, define new political bodies, and approve the final declaration and other political statements needed. The meeting will also decide the future host city government for the 2027 OIDP Conference.
