implements the One Climate Future climate action and adaptation plan, coordinated by the Sustainability Office with multiple departments and local stakeholders. The strategy promotes the clean energy transition through electric vehicle charging infrastructure, neighborhood charging hubs, solar installations, and the Electrify Everything! program, which supports building electrification and weatherization. It strengthens community resilience and local engagement through the Sustainable Neighborhoods Program and urban initiatives such as Complete Streets, Vision Zero, improved cycling and pedestrian accessibility, and transit-oriented development. The plan also advances a circular economy through recycling, composting, food-waste reduction, and reuse strategies. Finally, Energy Stretch Code, ReCode development standards, and the Energy Benchmarking Ordinance support energy-efficient, climate-resilient buildings and contribute to the decarbonization of the building sector.
