The “Future-fit cities” forum 2023 is now open for registration. Organized by the Mayors for Economic Growth Facility (M4EG), a joint initiative of the EU & UNDP, that supports local governments and communities to develop new growth trajectories. The Forum aims to take account of the current situation and chart the way forward on how to build resilience and grow green from crises including through tackling challenges of leadership and finance. The Forum will take place on the 3rd and 4th October in Batumi, Georgia.
Among topics to be discussed are:
- How can urban finance become more accessible to cities to support urban transitions and transformations
- How to grow from shock: Using crisis to pivot to greener models
- Collaboration and design: how should the cities of tomorrow be organized to drive development
